The gospel

All men have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. The good news is that Christ has come and brought salvation to all. All you have to do is receive his free gift through faith in Jesus!

The wages that sin pays are death, but God’s gift is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. ~ Romans 6:23 CEB

All have sinned and fall short of God’s glory, but all are treated as righteous freely by his grace because of a ransom that was paid by Christ Jesus. ~ Romans 3:23-24 CEB

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever BELIEVETH in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. - John 3:16 KJV

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: NOT of works, lest any man should boast. - Ephesians 2:8–9 KJV

Brothers and sisters, I want to call your attention to the good news that I preached to you, which you also received and in which you stand. You are being saved through it if you hold on to the message I preached to you, unless somehow you believed it for nothing. I passed on to you as most important what I also received: Christ died for our sins in line with the scriptures, he was buried, and he rose on the third day in line with the scriptures. - 1 Corinthians 15:1–4 CEB

My Beliefs

A short list of some beliefs I hold to.

• Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
• The bible is the inspired word of God, our final authority and inerrant in its original manuscripts.
• The trinity. God is triune; existing in three persons. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
• The continuation of the spiritual gifts as found in Corinthians 12:4-11.
• A pre-millennial return of Christ.
• Mutuality (aka, egalitarianism). While biologically different, there are no gender-based limitations of what functions or roles men & women can fulfill in the home, church, and society. Rather, this is determined by one's individual gifts and calling. See here, here, and here to go more in depth as to what this means.
